The rooftop Marrickville is a private studio space that supports local music and art.
We bought the property over 6 years ago with the idea of building a space that would enhance how we live in our inner city community, giving us all a chance to see the sky and world around us and to Give us back some perspective.
Our plans for rooftop are many and include rooftop gardens, art exhibitions, workshops on cooking, gardening, music and art and eventually a fully functioning commercial facility for private events.
For now, we are a private studio, we run exclusive events that are invite only for members (more details to come of how you can become a member), and we take donations for bands and artists to help them continue their up and coming projects.
In the next year we hope to improve the property with additions and Work with council to see if we can't do the occasional film night and community event.
